Greg Bishop

Greg Bishop, a prominent figure in the field of UFO research and conspiracy theories, co-founded The Excluded Middle in 1991, a magazine that delved into UFOs, conspiracy research, psychedelia, and new science. This pioneering publication led to the release of Wake Up Down There! in 2000, a compilation of articles from the magazine. Greg's second book, Project Beta, exposed a government disinformation campaign surrounding UFOs, solidifying his reputation as a key investigator in the field. He continued his exploration of the strange and unexplained with Weird California in 2006, a book that highlights the state's bizarre history and places.

From 2007 to 2011, Greg blogged for the UFO and paranormal site Ufomystic, and his 2017 book It Defies Language compiled his blog entries along with new material. His essay "The Co-Creation Hypothesis" was featured in the anthology UFOs: Reframing the Debate in 2017. In 2019, he co-authored A Is For Adamski, an encyclopedic overview of the UFO contact movement. His latest venture is the Ufology Tarot, a tarot deck inspired by the history of UFO research. Greg's long-running podcast, available at radiomisterioso.com, continues to engage and inform listeners about the mysteries of the universe.

Greg has been featured in numerous documentaries, such as Fields of Fear (about the cattle mutilation phenomenon) and Mirage Men (based on his book Project Beta). He has appeared on the Travel Channel series Mysteries at the National Parks and the History Channel series Unidentified. Additionally, he served as a guest and subject consultant for the TNN series The Conspiracy Zone with Kevin Nealon. Over the past two decades, Greg has lectured extensively at conferences, conventions, and academic institutions, sharing his vast knowledge and insights.

Apart from his work in ufology, Greg holds a private pilot license and an advanced certification in paragliding. He is also licensed by the FAA to fly drones for commercial clients, showcasing his diverse skills and interests.
