Norio Hayakawa

Norio Hayakawa, born in 1944 in Yokohama, Japan, is a renowned American activist based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As the former director of the Civilian Intelligence Network, he has been a vigilant advocate for government accountability.

A frequent guest on the Coast to Coast AM radio show, Norio is celebrated for his extensive UFO investigations in New Mexico and the American Southwest. His academic journey led him to the University of Albuquerque, where he graduated in 1970 with a major in Spanish, before teaching at a high school near Phoenix, Arizona.

In 1990, Norio gained significant attention by accompanying a Japanese TV crew to the perimeters of Area 51 and later to Dulce, New Mexico, where they explored local paranormal activities. Alongside filmmaker Anthony J. Hilder, he co-founded the Area 51 People's Rally in 1998, protesting the secrecy and health hazards faced by workers at the base.

With a passion for UFO research since 1961, Norio Hayakawa continues to be a pivotal figure in the field, combining his investigative expertise with a commitment to uncovering the truth.
